Police Cite 81 Adults Who Agreed To Buy Booze For Minors

Using minors as decoys, 18 law enforcement agencies in Northern California, including the Berkeley, Oakland and UC Berkeley police departments, issued 81 citations over the weekend to adults who agreed to purchase alcohol for underage drinkers. Investigators with the California Alcoholic Beverage Control led the sting operation Saturday in an effort to curb teen drinking. Statistics show that alcohol is the most used and abused drug among America's teenagers.
